Arashiyama Bamboo Grove is a natural forest of bamboo in Kyoto.

The forest consists of several pathways for tourists and visitors.

The Ministry of the Environment considers it a part of the soundscape of Japan.

It is very difficult to take photos here without people in them as so many tourists visit

– it might actually be impossible.

So I got up at 4 o'clock in the morning and headed for the shoot.

The early bird catches the worm, as this photo proves.

嵐山竹林群是位於日本京都的自然景觀,

竹林由數條步道構成,提供給觀光旅客行走遊覽.

環境部門認為這是屬於日本風景的一部份.

由於這裡有許多觀光旅客拜訪,所以很難拍攝到沒有人的照片

-這幾乎是不可能的.

因此我在清晨四點的時候起床並前往拍攝.
